Christmas part 2

After Kate's nap on Christmas day, Kate came downstairs to her new kangaroo jumping toy. Every time she stomps her feet, the toy counts, sings, or plays music. She loves it! Thanks Uncle Allen, Aunt Justina, and Kaitlin!

After a delicious dinner with the family, Kate opened her gifts from Great Grandma Rosetta.
Kate is very serious when she opens gifts.Kate got tons of musical instruments!
Opa and Kate drumming together.
Kate keeps the beat for the family band!

After bath, Kate came down to show off her new robe.
The next day, Kate opened the last of her gifts. She thought her new play food was real and kept tasting the various foods.
Inspecting her new farm from us.

Daddy used a screwdriver to put the batteries in the farm. He was just telling us a story about one of his co-works son. Apparently he had intently watched his father use a screwdriver on a door. The dad walked away and 15 minutes when he returned the bottom hinges of the doors had all been unscrewed by his son! A minute later, Kate took the screwdriver and attempted to take apart her new doggie pull toy! She new exactly where that screwdriver should go and that it was the right one from that screw! Scary! I think I really do have a future engineer on my hands!
One of Kate other new favorite toys is a tunnel. She has had a ball in it!

We hope you had a wonderful Christmas! Hope it was just as cheerful and joyful as our day! :)
