Sunday Cookie Baking

We have a wonderful weekend of delicious foods. Chris grilled ribs yesterday and we enjoyed them with watermelon followed by strawberries with angel food cake ad home made whip cream. Tonight Chris smoked a yummy season chicken. After dinner Chris decided we needed to make oatmeal cookies. We can't agree on what should or shouldn't be mixed into the cookies. He likes them plain or with butterscotch chips (which I didn't have today). I like them with chocolate chips or raisins. We compromised. We made 3 kinds! Kate helped too. (Note: she is shirtless since we had finished dinner and she was messy. Kate helped me mix the ingredients and dollop the dough onto the baking sheet. Chris got out the raisins, and Kate placed them in the cookies.Kate was very excited to keep an eye on the cookies.Here is the first batch of finished cookies. They smelled delicious!Kate really enjoyed the cookie and so did we! What a great cookie baker Kate is becoming. :)Great idea tonight, Honey!
