It's October and what does that mean?
Pumpkin! Pumpkins!! Pumpkins!!!
We ventured out to Moriarty to McCall's Pumpkin Patch today. Wow! That place is so much fun and has so much to do! Had we left a little earlier and Kate been a little less grouchy, we could have spent longer than 2.5 hours there! We had a yummy lunch and then let Kate run around a bit. She loved sitting on the tractor, seeing the bunnies in "Bunnyville," petting the goats, and playing in the corn box! In a few years she can enjoy the duck pond, the animals, the playhouse, the jumping places, and who knows what else!
After the cow ride we boarded the hay ride out to the pumpkin patch. I think Kate was a bit overwhelmed and just felt like running. She didn't care too much for picking out the ideal pumpkin. She thought they were balls and kept throwing the little pumpkins to the ground. We could have picked large pumpkins but we figured it was too much with Kate so we found a few Kate sized pumpkins and about 6 mini gourds.
Kate and her pumpkin (before she tossed it to the ground and wondered why it didn't bounce like a ball).
