We had a great time last weekend with my cousin, Emily, and her family. Gracelyn (2 1/2) and Kate got along pretty well. They chased each other around the balloon field and in the house, too. Next year we are sure they will get into some serious mischief and get Dillon (now 10 months old) into the scheme, too.

We made it to the mass ascension on the first day of Fiesta.

The wind was very calm so we actually saw balloons go up, over and come back down. Kate loved saying bye to all the balloons. We saw Airabelle the Creamland Dairy cow balloon and of course Kate was excited about the cow. This is a video of her telling us what the cow says.

Tomorrow morning at GE we have a breakfast and time to watch the special shape balloons fly over (well if the wind is blowing the right way!) It's a lot of fun and we can watch another balloon launch from the parking lot! I know I tend to complain about life in New Mexico, but this is the one thing I would miss if we left. Fiesta is so much fun!!!
