Huntsville part 2, US Space and Rocket Center

Yes,  I already know a membership to this museum is in our future. Luckily, our NM Natural History Museum membership is reciprocal until July! Kate just adored this place and wanted to go a second day but we didn't have time. Her wish is that we lived next to it but instead she has to settle for a 20 minute drive. Her response to seeing the Saturn V rocket, "It's huger than I thought it would be!" Of course she also asked if everything "was in the forest here?" because of all the trees around the museum and Huntsville.

My Space Explorers
Walking into the room and seeing the Saturn V on its side for the first time!
You could climb into a Mercury capsule and see that it felt like!
By the stage 2 rocket engines
There was even an Apollo capsule that you could climb into and see what it was like.

We happily ate lunch at the Mars Grill where they had a life-size Curiosity Rover!
