Happy Veteran's Day
Chris had the day off so we decided to take Kate to the Atomic Museum. While she didn't care too much for the museum itself, she did like the outside part with the airplanes, rockets and part of a submarine!

When you walk int he front there is a huge periodic table on the ground. We had fun running back and forth naming the elements, and Kate telling us how many electrons were in Hydrogen, Helium, and lithium. Opa has been working on that with her since she was born. :) How many 2 1/2 year olds do you know that recognize the symbol for hydrogen and helium and get excited to see it. ;)
We met our friend, Mike, at Applebee's for a yummy lunch and headed to the airport for a little plane watching before nap time. It was a fun day to hang with our favorite veteran. :) Thank you to all who have served and are currently serving!
