Fun with Grandma and Grandpa Whited

Chris's parents came down to visit this past weekend, and Kate certainly kept them entertained! On Sunday, we took them to the Botanical Gardens and let Kate run. Kate loved seeing the animals at the farm and loved running around the children's garden. She was even able to pet the goat at the farm!

We cooled off in the 1920's NM style farm house and relaxed in the rocking chairs for a few minutes.

We enjoyed a delicious lunch at the aquarium cafe where we were all fascinated by the fish swimming in the large and small tanks.While in the rose gardens, Kate decided she wanted to climb the steps. She did it a few times with help and then decided to do it all on her own! Every time she does something like this, I know that she will be climbing our own steps alone soon, too!

Kate isn't quite sure about bigger trains but she likes the miniature trains at the park. She still gets a little scared of the one we can ride around the BioPark, but she gets excited about these miniatures and always has to watch them go around whenever we visit the gardens.
