Let's Do Science!

A couple of weeks ago Kate asked me if we could do some science experiments that day. As soon as Ellie went down for a long nap, we grabbed our science gear from the closet and got to work! Kate wanted to do a "carbon dioxide" experiment, and I was tired of doing the volcano over and over again so I changed it up. I grabbed an empty water bottle and a balloon. We made the balloon expand with the trapped carbon dioxide gas. Oh she thought that was hilarious! We used a lot of vinegar and baking soda that day! I think we did this 4 or 5 times! By the end she added so much baking soda that we had the solution bubble into the balloon!
