The Whited Family: Happy New Year!

Kate decided to start the new year at 7:30 AM. This was her when I walked in this morning! :)

This is how she greeted me last year. :)

Wow she has grown a lot! Can't wait to see what 2010 brings!

Kate-isms 2012

January 20, 2012 - While Building Legos with daddy, "I changed into an engineer!"

February 12, 2012 - "Daddy, why are you so furry?" LOL

March 19, 2012 - I asked Kate to talk with her sister, who only stopped crying when Kate came over, so I could finish making dinner. This is what I heard in her little "teacher" voice. "Guess, what, Elizabeth! The magnets stick to the refrigerator. They have iron in them. (Coo from Ellie) Yes, iron!" My little science teacher and emphasizing iron!

March 25, 2012 - Kate could hardly wait to go to the zoo with her "best boyfriend, Aaron!"

March 26, 2012 - Elizabeth is in her bouncy chair, and Kate is sitting with her. Elizabeth kicked the seahorse to activate the sound. "Good job, Elizabeth! I'm so proud of you!" Kate's turning into a little mommy!

May 5, 2012 - while buying a present for her best friend's upcoming birthday, Kate wanted the same disney Princess carriage. I said she needed it to put it on her Christmas list. A few minutes later she asks, "Mommy, does Santa shop at Walmart?" I said, "No, but he has it at his shop at the North Pole." She was relieved, "Oh good!"

May 28, 2012 - While out shopping with Chris for camping gear and supplies, Kate told him, "We will need to pack lots of bricks for a fireplace!"
