On Christmas Eve, we kept track of Santa's travels all afternoon through NORAD. Kate's favorite stops were on the Space Station and Florida since she could see the space shuttle. :) That night Allen, Justina and Kaitlin came over for dinner and presents before church. Kate had a great time passing out the gifts and even more fun opening them!
There was no nursery at church so Kate had to sit in the service. She couldn't wait to light her candle and when the time came (at the very end) she sat very still and was mesmerized!
It was the only time this kid sat still! What can I say, she is active and curious and would rather be playing! After church she ran outside and twirled and around!
Like the coat? It was mine.
After church Kate got ready for bed, we read Santa Mouse and got the plate of cookies, cheese and milk ready for Santa and the Mouse.
Kate is just like her mommy and needed to be woken up on Christmas morning to open presents. As soon as I walked in and woke her up I told her Merry Christmas! She groggily replied, "Present." Guess she knew she had been good and Santa would delivery her presents. She eagerly opened and passed them out! It was a dinosaur/space Christmas for Kate! Santa came through and brought her the roaring dinosaurs she had requested.
That afternoon, we went and found more snow to play in (although it was a bit icy), but Kate had fun.
