We have been trying to teach Kate to use a straw from many, many months. She liked playing with it and would always bite it. She wouldn't try to drink from it but just pull it in and out of the hole. While we were out at Chili's with Chris's parents, we ordered Kate a milk. I always bring a sippy cup so we can pour it in. On Saturday Kate really wanted the cup. Next thing we know she is actually drinking from the straw! She was so excited and proud!
She is is excited that she has been drinking more than eating! Now she is rejecting her sippy cups. Time to shop for straws and cups! :)
